ToxiSeal

ToxiSeal Vial Adaptors mechanically prohibits environmental contaminants from entering the system and the escape of drug aerosols from the system, thereby minimizing operator and patient exposure to drug aerosols during compounding and patient drug administration

Ensuring safe and contamination free vial access

ToxiSeal Vial Adaptor maintains a dry connection is maintained with every drug transfer. Contaminants are prevented from entering the drug vial.

Drug aerosols are safely contained with a carbon filter and an expandable balloon.

ToxiSeal Vial Adaptor is compliant with NIOSH CSTD requirements to reduce the risk of exposure to hazardous drugs.

Key features

The Right Choice with Toxiseal

  • Dry Connections

Toxiseal and all its corresponding interface membranes exhibit 100% efficiency in achieving a dry connection in the communicating surfaces in a fluid transfer.

  • Microbial Ingress

Microbial Ingress testing verifies container closure integrity for product sterility. Toxiseal CSTD reliably prevents microbial ingress of at least 168 hours (7 days).

  • Pressure Equalization

The Toxiseal Vial Adaptor ensures pressure equalization when connected to a drug vial.

This prevents the generation of fine aerosols that could expose the environment, patients, and healthcare professionals to hazardous drugs, which may occur due to pressure differences.
